Founded in 2022 by professional dancers Renée and David Kim, Los Alamitos Ballet Theatre (LABT) was born from a legacy of excellence. Inspired by their work with legendary influencers Arthur Mitchell and Lois Ellyn, our founders have created a non-profit professional company that goes beyond the stage.
We believe that ballet is a catalyst for growth. Whether through our world-class school or our professional company performances, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where dancers of all ages can excel in classical, neo-classical, and contemporary genres.
